How do I set up my email client (Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail etc.)?

To setup your email account inside your email client of choice, you will need to know your email address, your password and how to create an account inside your email program. Here is the information you will be required to enter into your account settings:

1) Our mailserver address is server1.e3site.com for both incoming and outgoing connections.

2) The port for IMAP connections is 993, and you must ensure that SSL/TLS is selected.

3) If you elect to use POP3 instead of IMAP, use port 995, and you must ensure that SSL/TLS is selected.

4) For sending mail (SMTP), use port 587, and again, ensure that STARTTLS is selected.

5) To send mail, you must have the email client set to login/authenticate first. This setting is found in your SMTP settings - often in a second tab, so check around.
